With the help and assistance of the local communities and businesses in Coatbridge, Airdrie and the surrounding area, St Augustine’s Church group in Coatbridge ran a Christmas Toy appeal for December 2022 to help provide Christmas gifts to over 750 disadvantaged children in the Monklands area.

Scottish Roads Partnership (SRP), as part of their ongoing ‘Good Neighbour Fund’, helped the charity organisation by donating £500 towards the appeal. On Tuesday 20 December 2022 Scottish Roads Partnership (SRP) Operations Manager Graham Drummond visited the Parish Centre to view the appeals collection of newly purchased toys and gifts that would be given to needy families this festive season.
