Scottish Roads Partnership Donate One Hundred Fruit Trees to local Environmental Project.

The Viewpark Conservation Group are thrilled to share something truly special with you: The very generous donation of a 100-tree community orchard. This incredible gift wouldn’t be possible without the kindness and vision of Scottish Roads Partnership. A huge thank you to Graham Drummond from Scottish Roads Partnership and Martin Cochrane from Amey for recommending our community to be the recipients of this fantastic community resource - thank you for helping our green space grow. 

Graham Drummond visited the community orchard on 05^th December 2025, to meet the Viewpark Conservation Group staff, who took him to view the new orchards progress so far. 

This generous donation means 100 fruit trees taking root right here in Viewpark bringing blossom in spring, shade in summer, and free, delicious, fruit for many years to come. This new community orchard will be a place to learn, gather, and reconnect with nature, while reducing food insecurity, boosting biodiversity and creating a lasting green legacy.
