Career Fair at New College Lanarkshire - Coatbridge Campus
On Tuesday 25th March 2025, Amey’s Liaison Officer Martin Cochrane & Consulting’s Graduate Engineers Adeel Ahmed attended a Career’s Fair at New College Lanarkshire, Coatbridge Campus. They set up in a hall, manning an Amey Stall, with eight other businesses present. During the event they spoke to approximately 120 students from various North Lanarkshire High Schools, years S1 & S2. The Amey Staff providing career information and advice involving Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) and the required high school qualifications that would provide a pathway into Civil Engineering. Amey branded goods were provided to engaging students at the event (water bottle, notepad & pen). The event was run by SmartSTEM’s, a registered charity and promotor of STEM Events across Scotland and the whole of the UK.
